I can’t tell you how impressive this was to me.  Now that’s a true follower.  Today, he’s much, much happier.

Congratulations!  It was a hard row to hoe, but you did it.  That’s not going to mean much more than not having a perfect bookend season to the undefeated one of 35 years ago, but hey — a win’s a win, right?

Those poor Dolphin fans. As a Texans fan I know the agony of defeat and as a Colts fan I know the sweetness of success. Hopefully the Texans will have a better year next year.

PS. I checked out your wife’s blog. She’s really funny!

    Hi, Raga!

I’m sorry about not having any new fiction for you to read today. :( I’ve been feeling a bit blue and don’t really have the necessary inspiration to crank something out. I slapped a quick scene together with JD and Dillon, but it’s less than 500 words and is pointless, so I won’t be posting that. I promise to try before the week is out to get something for you.

Texans and Colts, eh? That’s got to create some problems, both being in the AFC South, no?

The Colts part, by the bye, broke my heart. Being a die-hard (but not so far this year) Pats fan, it pains me to hear that. ;)

Thank you so much for coming by, and my loving wife was touched that you liked her blog. I’m sure she’ll be by before day’s end to thank you herself. Feel free to comment on hers, too — she LOVES hearing from folks.

As for those DolFans — yes, they’ve suffered mightily. But hey — there has to be SOME consolation in being the first pick in the draft, right?

As a Pats fan, I don’t feel for them very much, I’m afraid. I just thought his commitment was pretty astounding.

Thanks again for being a faithful reader, Raga, and have a great day.

    Dear Raga,
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! And for thinking I’m funny! I’ve been so touched at the kind things you say to Darc – I use you as proof for him, “See? You DO have fans!”
I would love to share you, if you have some to go around. ;)
Do you have a blog we can read?

I’m sorry you’re feeling blue! I hope everything is okay. If you want a good laugh you should go over to youtube.com and type in UFC cats. It’s hilarious!

Don’t worry about not having a story for me today. I would rather wait and read something you feel good about. I can try to be patient. :O)

Sorry to break your heart with the Colts. I LOVE Peyton Manning and I have ever since I saw him tell his team mates when they were down 18-0 the score was nothing-nothing and they could do it. (And they did win) It stirred my heart and I really admire his never give up attitude. Plus I think he’s cute. LOL

Baseball is my passion though and I can’t wait for the season to start. I’ll probably end every post with Go Astros! so be prepared.

Raga – Go Astros, eh? Okay, well — we can permit that without caveat since we here are not baseball fans (it interferes with our football in autumn). So feel free to end all your posts however you choose! :) We’re just glad you’re here. As for Manning being “cute” — well, to each their own. My wife believes the hottest thing in spandex and shoulder pads is Tom Brady. I guess Giselle agrees. Not Jessica Simpson, though. ;)

As for the blues … well, things happen. Life’s circumstances aren’t always within my control. But I have a loving family and a supportive spouse, and with your devotion to reading my ramblings and with good friends like Sherri and Bryce to hold me up, we’ll be fine. Hopefully the Muse will return soon and I can offer more of what you want. :)

Thanks for caring, though, Raga. It means more than I can ever say.

Hey Darcknyt (and everyone else) – If you’re interested in taking a look at some of my own fiction, I posted a unique take on a Christmas story on my blog today. Love to hear what you all think.
