Still not that good news, Yellowcat, but close.
I’ll be starting another non-fic project shortly. That’s right, for the second time in a year I’ll be writing a book slated for publication later this year or early next!
This is both good news and bad news. Good news, because I love to write. Bad news, because I want to write fiction, not computer books. Good news, because I’m a multi-published author; bad news because I’m not a NYT best-selling author. Nevertheless, I have the project and it’s on an interesting topic. A couple of you know about this, but keep it on the QT until I announce formally on Friday, okay? Thanks. 
So, things continue looking up. And it’s weird because I’m not used to things looking up so much. If they look up any more I’ll get a kink in my neck. (See?)
The only thing which could interfere with this as a positive would be … well, a job. I have a sort of tight deadline and don’t want to miss it, so a job would sort of be a cramp in my style.
My style being to lay around in my underwear and drink bitter strong coffee, complaining. Hey, I’m a writer.
Sorry, I mean author.
