“Since she came in. She was babbling about the camera, the camera, so I tried to take the camera and she went ballistic. It took Tony, me and Amber to hold her down long enough to give her the sedative.”
Well, it was fun while it lasted.
My hit count went bonkers yesterday, and today?
Nothin’.
Well … not nothin’, exactly, but it’s about a third of what it was yesterday. So I have discovered no secret of success, unless you all want more short fiction pieces. I have one in the works and one in the pipe, so we’ll see where that goes. If the count goes crazy again, I’ll know it’s that. If not … I will remain as clueless as I am today.

Ah, my friends, my fellow bloggers, my beloved and fellow Internets … this is one satisfied traffic whore.
It’s been months since I’ve been so … so … ahhh.
How can I thank you?
I have no idea what happened, but my numbers went wonky and wild today. It was a virtual hit-orgy. I had so many viewgasms I don’t even know what to do.
So … Do I have a smoke now? Or is there more on the way? ‘Cause, you know … I’m always “up” for more. So to speak.

My wife and I were editing some short stories I’ve written as prizes for kiriban winners on my deviantART page.
So, we stayed up until 4 a.m. doing it.
Yeah, we’re a little trashed today. I ended up with about 3 hours of sleep or so; she didn’t get much more than that if any.
But it was so fun. We did it by reading the piece aloud and seeing where the glaring flaws showed up. Fortunately, there weren’t many in the one we edited last night, so we could be giggly and goofy and really enjoy going back and forth with it. It was like doing an audio play. I did the male voices and she did the female lead. Loads of fun.
Anyway, that’s what’s going on right now. I have another piece to edit and email out, then I can start work on the LAST kiriban winner’s prize, and in the meantime I have another kiriban that’s about to close out in the next couple of days, and I’ll have to write a piece for that winner.
So … whew. If I’m not being consistent with blogging, now you know why.
